Orienteering is about knowing how to find your way on a map, read a legend, follow a route, and locate checkpoints—all as quickly as possible. A fun activity that combines mental and physical challenges!
But above all, it’s a game that captivates young and old alike—a chance to get some fresh air in the magnificent playground that is Lac Blanc.
The discovery trail is open to everyone—children (when accompanied), families, teens, adults, and even strollers (4x4 models).

A map of the trail is available for purchase (1€) at the Auberge du Blancrupt (at the trailhead) or at the tourist office. Please note: before heading to the site, be sure to check the opening hours of these locations, especially during the off-season.

The trail is accessible year-round, except when there is snow.
