Start the tour in Ribeauvillé, a town overlooked by the remains of the three castles of the Lords of Ribeaupierre. After Bergheim, a fortified medieval winegrowing town, you're off to the forest, the mountains and a slightly steeper gradient towards Thannenkirch at the foot of the Taennchel massif. The descent is towards Saint-Hippolyte. From the Roman road, which offers a gentle return to Ribeauvillé, Rodern, Rorschwihr and Bergheim are visible, these villages spread out over the hillsides, some of which are classified as Grands Crus.

Château de Reichenberg: Located in the commune of Bergheim, the Château has been listed as a historic monument since 1995. Built in the 13th century by Duke Philippe of Lorraine, it underwent major renovation work in the 19th century, giving it its current appearance.

The Roman Way: For several centuries, the Romans remained in Alsace. They only left under pressure from the Alamanni at the beginning of the 5th century. Between these two dates, they built towns and army camps that were linked by numerous roads, some of which have survived to this day.
